Sandpoint – The third annual Community Health & Wellness Fair will be held Saturday, Sept 18 at the Bonner County Fairgrounds from 10am to 2 pm. Admission is free and open to the general public. Besides free health care services and great giveaways, kids can learn about bike safety and enjoy the Bike Rodeo. Youngsters will also enjoy climbing aboard the fire truck, ambulance, and marine patrol boat and meeting local firemen, police officers, and emergency personnel.
Again this year, try to walk the line with beer goggles from the Idaho State Police and visit “X-ray Dude” at Bonner General Hospital. The Sandpoint Fire Department will perform infant car seat checks to keep little ones safe on the road.
The Inland Northwest Blood Mobile is scheduled to be at the Fairground from 9:00am to 1:00pm that day. 7 year old Sandpoint resident, Amber Staffiero, requires a transfusion every 3 weeks to battle a deadly disease. Donate to help save her life and countless others. Participants will be entered to win a raffle prize!
The event will be held at the Bonner County Fairgrounds, located at 4203 N. Boyer in Sandpoint. Organized by the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce’s health & wellness committee with partnering sponsors Association of Bonner County Employees and Bonner General Hospital.
