Free Seeds and Starts Through University of Idaho Extension office

The University of Idaho Extension (Master Gardener program office) is offering free seeds, seed potatoes and starts to local gardeners. They ask that you only take what you can plant and please donate half of it back to the Plant A Row For The Hungry program. They have heirloom and organic varieties along with hybrids from many different companies including Seed Savers Exchange, Victory Seeds, and Heirloom Seeds. You may pick these up during business hours 9-5 Mon-Fri. Potatoes are available until July 1. Seedlings, when available, will be located in the courtyard outside the building off Poplar Street (between 3rd and 4th in Coeur d’Alene). These items are available for pick-up any day/time.
