Treasures Galore

Are you a treasure hunter?  On the lookout for something that got pushed aside by someone, only to be discovered by somebody else who wants it?  North Idaho has stores for that.

Start the day with a relaxing breakfast and maybe a stroll through the park or along the lakeside.  Most stores open by 10:00am, take your time.

Starting from downtown Coeur d’Alene, drive north on 4th Street to find the Idaho Youth Ranch Thrift Shop at 811 N 4th and the Women’s Center Thrift Shop across the street at 848 N 4th.  Four blocks up is Goodwill at 4th & Harrison and the Hospice Thrift Shop at 1823 N 4th.  From there turn west on Locust, go 4 blocks and turn south on Government Way for St. Vincent dePaul at 108 E Walnut.  Continue east then south on 3rd Street (one way south) to get to New 2 U at 1034 N 3rd and the Humane Scociety Thrift Shop at 916 N 3rd.

The Post Falls area also has some thrift stores.  Take Seltice west from Ceour d’Alene and along the way you’ll find Real Life Ministries Thrift Store at 1600 E Seltice, Hospice Thrift at 503 E Seltice, Left Overs at 502 E Seltice, Seltice Thrift at 201 W Seltice and  St. Vincent dePaul Books & More at 201 W Seltice.  At the I-90 and Pleasant View Rd interchance is Treasure Town, 3930 W 5th near Flying J Truckstop.
